In this artwork, the exploration of water and its reflection is brought to life through the use of serene yet vibrant imagery. The interplay of light and shadow was crucial in creating a dense atmosphere throughout the composition. This artwork became a personal exploration of my inner reflections and the depths of the unconscious mind. My intention was to convey the ethereal beauty found within fleeting moments of life, as well as the transient nature of life itself.
The use of bold, vibrant colours and calligraphic brushworks serves to evoke a sense of wonder and awe, while the use of impasto creates rich texture and depth on the surface.
